The environment was wonderful. In addition to the office being located directly on a lake, everyone at BMGI was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everyone I met said they would be happy to answer my questions. I had a project-based internship which helped me learn a lot. My project manager asked my interests at the beginning of the summer, and she created my projects based on my interests and what the company needed. I felt like a valuable part of the team, if only for 6 weeks.
What I wish was different
I wish I were more interested in finance. I bet I would've enjoyed my projects a lot more if I intended on pursuing a career in finance.
Advice
Internships are a learning opportunity, so ask lots of questions and be as helpful as possible. Everyone will appreciate your help.
