Carroll Daniel has a great work atmosphere! The company has a family feel and everyone is so friendly. All employees, without hesitation, are willing to help out with any questions I may have. There is an equal balance between serious work and having fun in the office.
What I wish was different
The internship was split into two halves, one half of it I spent in the office with a project manager. The other portion was spent in the field on the jobsite. I wish I had an even split of time in the office and field. The office time was cut a couple days short than the field. I still enjoyed both of the opportunities and love the company!
Advice
One piece of advice I have to share is to be open minded and listen to what everyone has to say. The only way to continually learn is to listen to people who have experience!

What I liked
I enjoyed the culture of the company and being able to grow my skills throughout my time with the company.
What I wish was different
It was during a difficult time with COVID-19. I wish I had more interactive experience with my positions.
Advice
Always leave an employer on a positive note. As I concluded my internship to begin my first year of college, I knew I would not be able to continue while I was in school. I was asked back for a seasonal position during the year and I believe it is because I left a good, lasting impression with the company.
