The people at CareDash were amazing and I was able to learn about data analytics and machine learning in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The startup culture and ability to see the impact of my work on the company was very inspiring.
What I wish was different
I would have loved more diversity, especially on the technical/software teams (I worked in an all-male team). I would also have liked more feedback post-internship.
Advice
Take initiative and really make an effort to know people. Especially in a start-up, the work can be flexible and what you get out of the experience is what you put into it.
