CapTech

Software Engineering Intern

May - August 2023 • Richmond, VA

What I liked

I appreciated the workshops and meetings about important technologies, common practices, soft skills, and the company culture. Another great part was the out-of-office events which were quite fun. I also liked the physical setting, the office space was perfect for the structure of the internship where all the interns were split into three teams to work autonomously in separate rooms with common meeting spaces. The people were amazing, both fellow interns and full-timers. 11 weeks of learning, team building, and fun.

What I wish was different

The pay could have been better.

Advice

Go for it, show yourself, work hard, and have fun.
