“I liked the people I worked with as well as the mission of the organization. ”

“My experience served as a reminder to continuously network and maintain good relations with professionals. Not only did I maintain close relationships with my staff and peers, but I also interacted frequently with cancer survivors, families dealing with loss, and community members. I was also thankful to be able to outreach to Latino families, as they are the largest growing minority with astonishing health disparities. As a proficient bilingual, I want to strive to bridge the gap between the world of American medicine and the traditions of Latino culture. ”
