What I liked

Camping World has been a great place to learn about how the business world works. I've gotten experience all the different sides of merchandising from Inventory to Pricing to Visual Space Planning. The team here at Bowling Green Coporate is extremely helpful and supportive. They encouraged me to learn as much as possible. Everyday tasks are learning experiences as well as special projects and more.

What I wish was different

Advice

I will have to be willing to make mistakes and learn from them. During this internship, you will dive headfirst into the corporate environment which can be challenge. Teamwork and communication are key. It can be tough adjusting to a work culture where you feel like you are the odd one out. But Camping World does a great job in making sure you have everything you need to be successful and will continue to check up on you along the way. Just remember the people you are working with are learning just as much as you are.

What I liked

I enjoyed living in a recreational vehicle camper on the companies lot. The Company at this location are very understanding and encouraging. Working at this location with the mangers and employees made it great experience.

What I wish was different

I wish I spent more time working with Automotive Chassis Technician for more experience realated to automotive service rather than camper repair service.

Advice

Take advantage of what’s actually in front of you because what you may be looking for may not come in bold form. Be patient, observant, and always ask questions.
