I loved the small tight knit community of like minded people. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The camp atmosphere is unlike any other, and the fresh air was to die for.
What I wish was different
I wish that the upper staff had treated the counselors with a bit more respect and understanding given the long work days and both the physical and mental strain we put ourselves through every single day for two months.
Advice
If you consider being a camp counselor, be prepared to put all your mental energy on the line, because it is a draining experience, but also a rewarding one.

What I liked
Helping campers conquer their fear of heights, and the general interaction with children, as I want to eventually become a teacher
