I liked the unique ability to work as an advanced lifeguard at a 100 year old state of the art camp and having the ability to connect and even minister in a secular environment.
What I wish was different
I wish I had a higher paying salary but that comes with more summers spent at the camp. I also wish I had more opportunities to go to church and have a christian community to connect with.
Advice
It is an exhausting job to not just be an advanced waterfront lifeguard but to live with and counsel the campers for 8 weeks as well as 2-3 weeks of pre training.
