I really enjoyed the Christian environment of the camp, but I also really enjoyed having a strong support network with my coworkers and co-counselor who I could talk to if I was struggling with a camper or something personal. I appreciated living in staff housing because it helped me to form strong bonds and friendships with my coworkers throughout the summer as well.
What I wish was different
I had a really good experience working here and I cannot really think of anything that I wish would have been different.
Advice
Make sure to take your break times and time off to take care of yourself because when you are working 14-22 hour days it can be really taxing as the summer goes on if you do not take the time to take care of yourself.

What I liked
I loved the Christian community I found there that made it feel like a home of sorts and really helped me grow in my faith. The people there are amazing, supportive, caring, and point you to Jesus.

I wish the breakfast had a non-sugary option
