What I liked

I loved getting to know everyone that I worked with and all the campers were so much fun to teach.

What I wish was different

I wish I had known more of what to expect from camp life. I didn't realize how closely attached people are and become to camp until I worked at one.

Advice

Don't be afraid to reach out through social media to other workers before camp. I started talking with another counselor from Wales before camp started because it was her first year as well, and because of this, we felt like we had known each other ages by the time we got there.
