What I liked
I loved getting to meet the kids I counseled and learning how much time and care it takes to reach out to children. I also love the Christian community I was surrounded by and being able to grow in my faith through connecting back nature.
What I wish was different
I wish I could of went on more trek outings. I also wish there was more time to be a counselor since it went by so fast.
Advice
You don't really know what it is like to have the capability of learning from the mind of a child and realizing how their is no guide book in raising a child. You also grow as a person where you really come in contact with how strong, flexible and capable you really are in overcoming things rather than just sitting back.
