I really liked working with the kids. They were so fun and made sure that every day was something different. I also really liked the fact that I was working to create an amazing camp experience for these kids like my counselors had done for me. It was a source of giving back to a community that had given me so much.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been treated differently by administration. They did not treat me fairly and made a lot of decisions that heavily impacted my summer personally without discussing them with me. Additionally, they didn't really listen to their staff overall when we were angry or upset with a decision they made and had ideas on how to improve staff life in general.
