What I liked
Met lots of new people from all around. The camp made sure you felt prepared to deal with most situations and counselors could report back to higher-ups whenever necessary.
What I wish was different
Advice
If you're coming for the money, save yourself the disappointment! But if what you want is a once-in-a-lifetime summer then this is definitely a great experience.

What I liked
The Camp and atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. The staff was incredibly supportive and as Cheesy as it sounds I made lifelong friends.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been more prepared supplies wise, and more aware of the councilor experience.
Advice
Don't take yourself so seriously, have as much fun with the kids you can, because they can't prepare you for how attached you get.

What I liked
I got to meet amazing people from all over the world. Some of the kids really wiggle their way into your heart. It’s an absolutely gorgeous place with lots of sports and activities for the kids. It’s a really cool place.
What I wish was different
Some of the management there was very questionable. The kids are the main priority and you definitely get the short end of everything. Many of the kids don’t respect you at all.
Advice
Take a nap WHENEVER you can.
Open your mind and your heart.
You won’t be rewarded for your efforts, but try to keep your cool and have a good time and it can be one of the best summers of your life.

What I liked
I had a great time working with the campers and other counselors! I built some amazing relationships with people from all over the world!
What I wish was different
The days were very long with minimal breaks. You were often exhausted by the time the day ended.
Advice
Go in with an open mind! Be ready to participate in activities with the campers.
