Working at this camp was genuinely life changing for me. The support and appreciation I felt while working here helped me get through any of the rough days. The campers are people that will always be in your memory. The staff are genuine people who love the work they do and it shows so clearly.
What I wish was different
I wish I could get better pay as a counselor.
Advice
My piece of advice, is if you are considering working for this camp, go for it. I would be there everyday at camp if I could. You will not regret working here.

What I liked
Although counselors were usually 1:1 with their own camper, we all supported each other whenever we could! Sometimes this looked like a counselor looking after another camper while their counselor grabbed extra food. Other times it was just a knowing and supportive nod in passing during the regular chaos of the day. Even those who did not have a 1:1 camper worked extremely hard every day to provide support for the counselors on top of their regular duties.

Go in with an open mind! Every camper is going to be different and have their unique strengths. This is what makes camp interesting :)
