The camp counselors were all quite dedicated to the job. The camp staff were all incredibly supportive. The kids are fun and CHT is a great location.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been clearer expectations for the extra activities we were expected to do outside of activity programming. There is this idea of camp magic and it can be stressful to have a desire and an external expectation to go above and beyond.
Advice
It's not easy. The hours you have off are odd. The hours on are long. You will have to grow and focus on developing self care because if self care falls behind you will be unable to do your job.
