I loved all of the hands-on experience that was available for working with children, problem solving, facilitating, leading, and managing behavior. I loved this job and all that it taught me.
What I wish was different
I wish that training dates were communicated earlier and that the guidelines of breaks was clearer.
Advice
Even though you may be going on to week seven of the summer and are feeling drained, remember that for most of the kids you are seeing that it is week one for them. Each week is full of new experiences and opportunities, so make the most out of it.
