The EDMO Method is at the heart of all things EDMO. Collaboratively designed with a team of experts, including the UC Berkeley Greater Good Science Center, it is our very own SEL framework and our approach to educating the whole child — mind, body, and heart. By incorporating scientifically proven social and emotional learning (SEL) practices into our engaging science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) curriculum; we expand the boundaries of learning and give kids the opportunity to learn and make mistakes in a safe environment.
STEAM curriculum + SEL teaching methods = kind, curious, and courageous kids. Since 2004, we have been devoted to creating environments that cultivate the good we hope to see in the world. From how we teach kids to how we interact with each other, we are committed to creating brave spaces where each person can show up as their authentic self.
