I loved what I did. I really got to impact girls in a positive way, teaching them about various leadership aspects and watching them grow as leaders, in independence and as Christians. I grew as I taught them as well.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time to rest, but it was worth the hard work.
Advice
If someone is on the fence about doing a hard job, stepping out to try something new, or scared of the difficulties that could come with the territory, I advise stepping out in faith. It may be difficult, but if we don't try difficult things we stop growing, we become stagnant. Challenging oneself to stretch and grow is helpful.
