Being able to work along side an amazing team of dedicated, hard working, and intentional young adults over the past few summers has been a truly foundational experience not just professionally but also personally. It is a community that has taught me what unconditional love is and how rewarding hard work is. As the assistant program coordinator, my job was to address conflict in a mature and professional manner. I learned conflict resolution, how to care for others in a trauma informed way, and practical wilderness skills (first aid, CPR, camping out in the woods etc). Every young person should have a job like Camp Bethel. There is truly no place like it. ”
