Camp Beechpoint's primary purpose is to reach urban and under-resourced youth with the gospel of Jesus Christ through a quality Christian camping experience. This is achieved through programs which provide campers with an environment to learn and practice Christ-like principles and to see Christ’s love demonstrated.
Camp Beechpoint works to reach people who have come from hard places and have barriers to experiencing camp. 80% of the campers receive scholarships. Camp Beechpoint works with organizations and ministries like Prison Fellowship, DHHS, foster care agencies, urban and rural neighborhood outreach and justice programs, etc to not only get kids to camp, but to also provide continual ministry and involvement after camp.
Camp Beechpoint loves its staff and knows that camp is an intense mission. Camp Beechpoint provides discipleship, encouragement, internships, support, community, and specialized training, along with pay, the option to receive missions funding, and food and housing. Building into our staff is a vital part of our ministry.
Camp Beechpoint is God's place that we pray and steward asking and working so that campers can know the Gospel and grow in knowledge and experience of God, while staff grows in faith and relationship with the almighty God who loves them completely.
