What I liked

I liked being able to work with kids and be outside for most of the day. It was rewarding to watch them learn and grow with the support we were all providing.

What I wish was different

We were severely understaffed so counselors had to pick up way more tasks than usually necessary.

Advice

Make sure you have a lot of patience and actually know how to work with and speak with kids constructively and effectively!

What I liked

This job, even though not related to my field of interest professionally, taught me more life lessons and gave me opportunities to show proper costumer service to large amounts of people. As a staff we had to work quickly and efficiently, and always be on our toes.
