Cabarrus County Schools is located minutes east of Charlotte, NC and our district boasts beautiful rural areas and thriving urban areas. Our central location in the state gives residents quick access to our beaches and mountains. A two to three hour drive will allow you to explore the Blue Ridge Mountains and a three-hour drive east will place you at the scenic beaches. Within the Charlotte Metro area, there are theaters, museums, parks and restaurants. Charlotte is also home many professional sports such as the Carolina Panthers, the Charlotte Hornets, and Nascar’s Charlotte Motor Speedway and Nascar’s Hall of Fame.

Our district operates 45 schools, ranging from Pre-K to 3 Early College High Schools.
We have 21 elementary schools, 9 traditional middle schools, 8 traditional high schools, 1 virtual academy, 1 school of the arts. 1 preschool, 1 non-traditional middle school and 3 non-traditional high schools. All schools have wireless access.
