I really liked that I was able to be hired without any prior coding experience. Learning on the job can be difficult especially while also taking classes, but it has been extremely rewarding and beneficial to know how to code. I also felt extremely blessed to gain experience using Amazon Web Services. Overall great experience.
What I wish was different
When I started there was no formal training program. My supervisor literally told me on the first day to just look up a website and start learning Node.js. There is now a formal training program for new hires so that should help quite a bit.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions. You will save yourself a lot of time and frustration.
