You shop on Amazon. We all do. And a growing share of American consumers are active Amazon Prime members, buying more every year through Amazon than from other online retailers and the retreating landscape of brick-and-mortar stores.
Here in Utah, we see evidence of this shift in retail buying behavior with the upcoming opening of Amazon's first fulfillment center in the Salt Lake metro area. It's also happening in Logan, the college town in northern Utah, where a long-standing brick-and-mortar store (The Book Table) hatched an Amazon-focused business that's grown into the largest Amazon seller of its kind, offering more products that are stored and shipped from Amazon's fulfillment centers across the U.S. than any other. What's more, that business, BuyBoxer, now helps manage the Amazon sales channel for nearly 200 brands, providing strategy consulting, marketing and retail operations services. Part retailer, part tech startup, part marketing machine, BuyBoxer is growing quickly and we're always recruiting for driven leaders and ambitious recent college grads to join our team.
