Graphic Design Intern

What I liked

I learned about the graphic design workflow in a professional setting, working alongside the head of graphic design. I was taken out of my comfort zone and learned how to create appealing graphics and slideshows in Powerpoint. I was also given access to the company WordPress and learned how to edit, update, and create new posts for the company blog.

What I wish was different

I wish that the internship had lasted longer. However, due to the nature of the startup company, they went under and were unable to keep me as a long-term intern.

Advice

Don't be afraid to apply! I didn't think I would land such an awesome position, but you'll never know the talent that others see in you unless you put it out there.
