Burger King

Crew Member: Cashier/Cook

What I liked

The management was very fair and the number of hours that I received as an employee exceeded my expectations.

What I wish was different

I wished at times that I could stay at my shift until my shift was over, instead of leaving early when business were slow.

Advice

One piece of advice that I would like to share about my experience at Burger King was that customer interactions are very important. Treat every customer with respect and consideration and you will be rewarded. I was given two different job offers while I was on my shift during my time at Burger King due to my excellent customer service.

Burger King Cook

June - September 2018 • Hesperia, CA

What I liked

I loved being able to work alongside a diverse group of people who were invested into making quality burgers and sandwiches while upholding a supportive, welcoming, and warm environment for walk in and drive thru customers.

What I wish was different

I wish we would have been properly stocked each day.

Advice

I would recommend that people who work in fast food should work on their team playing skills, oral speaking skills, and cooking experience in learning how to coordinate with their coworkers in order to smooth out the fast paced and often disruptive back of the house environment.
