What I liked

This role brought me out of my comfort zone and everyone I've met through this program has been so encouraging and inspiring. We also had a lot of freedom and creativity to grow our experience in ways specifically applicable to our campuses--it's amazing!

What I wish was different

In-person meetups with ambassadors and HQ representatives from other locations!

Advice

If you're not sure if this is something you want to do, just go for it and try it out! You won't regret it.

What I liked

Everyone in leadership at Bumble is passionate about their position and impact on their team. I have never worked with such incredible people- always focusing on quality, impact, and mission. Bumble is a safe space for growth, feedback, and challenges. I've always appreciated how many resources are offered to my program to ensure all feel supported and safe.

What I wish was different

I would love to see more onsite headquarters locations for us to meet and collaborate as a team IRL.

Advice

Going into this role, my leadership style was what I have found works best for me, both as the leader and team member. Managing so many different people, I've found that by adjusting that leadership style to best fit each of my team members has improved their engagement and excitement surrounding our work together. It's rewarding that I'm able to get people as excited about spreading Bumble's mission as I am!
