What I liked

I loved all the experiences and opportunities to learn more about luxury fashion, goods and services and lifestyle overall. This came in the form of store visits, receiving an introductory overview of every department in the Bulgari New York corporate office, having an LVMH day where other LVMH interns were met, etc. I liked how I worked with two different departments and got to experience two very different areas of Human Resources.

What I wish was different

I wish I had received more work. While talking to the other interns, I realized that there was a substantial difference in workload. I feel as though I was constantly asking my bosses if there was anything else I could do for them and constantly trying to find ways to occupy myself. Also, this isn't really something that could have changed, but quite early on during my internship did I realize that I actually want to go into Public Relations and Events rather than Human Resources.

Advice

Network and connect with as many people, regardless of departments. I talked with people from different areas of the Human Resources department, the Public Relations department, the Finance department, the Retail department and more. I've learned so much from them and have received so much valuable information and connections from doing so.
