In 2006, three friends — Dan Houghton, Jeff Dugger, and Steve Dugger — realized there had to be a better way for construction companies and builders to manage their projects.
They combined their knowledge of the software industry and their expertise as developers and designers to create a user-friendly, web-based software platform to help construction professionals become more efficient and productive.
Over time, Buildertrend, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, became the gold standard in construction management software. The bigger the company grows, the more committed we’ve become to our belief that even the best can get better. And if there is a better way, we’ll find it.
