Work an actual campus job. Part-time in a restaurant isn't fun.

What I liked
The staff and crew were extremely friendly and always willing to help one another out.
What I wish was different
Some of the other workers weren't as keen to help others and didn't do things as a team.
Advice
Serving is a great way to make money, but just remember that everyone has their good and bad days. This goes for you and for customers. Don't let bad tips ruin your night!

What I liked
It is a great job for a student because the managers are flexible with scheduling around classes and time you need for schoolwork. It is a fun friendly environment and a way to earn quick good money.
What I wish was different
I wish I had chosen to work at a location closer to campus and my home, because this store in particular is very far from campus, especially during rush hour.
Advice
The shifts are usually at least 8 hours, and it is a lot of time spent on your feet running around. It is not necessarily a hard job, but it is stressful and takes skill and time to get strong at. Once you're strong though, it's even easier to make lots of money very quickly.

What I liked
How friendly the environment is, and I genuinely enjoy getting to talk to people.
What I wish was different
The communication in general is not that good, and I did not always feel respected by the managers.
Advice
If you are thinking that anyone can be a server, it is not true. Servers have to be able to handle high stress situations, diffuse angry guests, and work long hours on your feet.
