This internship offered a wide variety of experiences in the natural resources field. I was able to work with many professionals such as natural resources engineers, stream and nutrient specialists, habitat management and wildlife biologists, foresters, and fisheries biologists.
What I wish was different
Advice
Don't be afraid to try it all. Working with county, state, and federal agencies in this position offer great experiences to build your network and show others your work ethic.

What I liked
I got to travel throughout the entire county and saw beautiful landscapes and a variety of animals.
What I wish was different
Starting at 6 AM was extremely early, had to wake up around 4 AM so I had enough time for breakfast and the hour drive there.
