When I was hired, I was given a job description that listed my responsibilities as a camp counselor, which included a line at the bottom that read "And any additional tasks as assigned by the Camp Director" which I assumed just mean other counselor related duties. Turned out that "additional tasks" included herding cows, fixing barbed wire fences, various landscaping jobs, and other manual labor tasks. I ended up loving the job even more because of these additional tasks but I was very surprised when I figured out that my job was going to be nothing like I had expected it to be. So my piece of advice is to make sure that you ask a lot of questions and are fully aware of your job description so you're not caught off guard when you start working.
