What I liked

The culture and importance of my work was astounding! I never felt like I was going through the motions at work; everyday I went into the office I felt I was leaning something new in the business world & BRP's operations everyday. The people I worked with always encouraged me to do my best and I viewed them as models on what a true business professional should be. I was also able to effectively network with many people in the office such as people in marketing, sales and human resources.

What I wish was different

Honestly, there is very little to nothing I would change about my position. It was overall a very enjoyable internship and I had always seen myself progressing as a business professional over the past two years of interning with them. But, if I had to name one thing I wish was different I would wish I was offered a few more responsibilities within my role.

Advice

One piece of advise I would give to someone going into this position would be open-minded. Business anywhere someone goes is always changing and listening to one's coaches and mentors is crucial especially if one wants to excel in their position and grow as an individual.

Chemical Engineering Intern

January - August 2018 • Sturtevant, WI

What I liked

I had a lot of real life, chemical engineering experience and a lot of relevant projects to put on my resume. I also know now that I'd like to get into manufacturing, and got to work with a really great team.

What I wish was different

More people my age or more interns, I felt a lot out of my element and I was the only chemical engineering intern in a 700 people large company.

Advice

Google is your friend! Also no question is a dumb question; if you don't ask a simple question someone with years of experience will ask it before you.
