What I liked
I liked being able to intern in the career field that I am planning to go into one day soon. I enjoyed learning a lot and being able to start actively participating in the daily workings of a theatre from the very start of the internship.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been there for a longer time. I was only able to work one session of the summer because I left the country to study abroad, so I very much wish I could have remained just a tad longer.
Advice
That if you want to learn about the technical side of theatre and you enjoy working with children, I would say that the Teen Performance Program at the Broward Center is a great place to spend a summer.
