Awesome company culture in the office. Lot's of experience on the actual job sites. Interacted with people involved in all levels and aspects of the project - from management to inspection to actual production. Learned a lot of technical terms and skills of the trade.
What I wish was different
There wasn't an established intern program with a day to day schedule set out for the summer.
Advice
Don't take things personally, people communicate differently in the construction industry and things are always changing so it's a high-stress environment for the people in management positions.
