I liked how every day was something new. It was also a great learning experience on Misdemeanors and the law in general.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time to work with the investigators and get to know their role in cases better.
Advice
One aspect I took away that I thought others might find useful is to absorb everything around you. Make sure you not only take in what people are telling you and do your job to the best of your ability, but also the type of environment your future profession entails. I think it is important to recognize how people are treated and talk about each other.

What I liked
I liked the valuable experience the internship provided me at such a high and sophisticated level. I learned so much about the work behind the Public Defenders and how hardworking the investigators are for the attorneys representing their clients
What I wish was different
I wish I stayed at the internship for a longer time- more than 3 months
Advice
One has to be ready to be on one's feet at all times and understanding the process is very crucial
