I had the opportunity to work with a small team on high yield credit within the telecom, infrastructure, and energy industries! I loved working on pitch ideas and having the ability to discuss investment ideas with the team, and felt that my work was appreciated and useful to the team. I also had the change to get familiar with using Bloomberg and other resources for compiling research.
What I wish was different
I really enjoyed working with my team, and they did a great job at helping me get familiar with my work expectations and mentoring me through my investment ideas. I wouldn't change a thing!
Advice
Use all the resources available to you, and read a LOT - doing background readings on the industries I was researching and scouring company news was really important to get me up to speed for pitches.
