Electrical engineering co-op

June 2018 - August 2019 • La Vergne, TN

What I liked

Working on a wide variety of EE projects (controls, CAD, programming, diagnosis, troubleshooting...) High flexibility in choosing what projects to work on Huge amount of project management/general business experience

What I wish was different

Initial training (first 2 months) is handled by the previous co-ops, which can leave serious gaps in your knowledge base depending on what they worked on.

Advice

Never hesitate to ask questions. It is a massive, diverse, and fast-paced place. You'll get left behind quickly if you don't ask for explanations where necessary.
