Entertainment Development and Production Internship
December 2023 - May 2024 • Los Angeles, CA
What I liked
I learned so much about a side of the film industry that I had little knowledge of, so I am grateful to have more skills in film that help me to be a more well-rounded filmmaker. Todd and Thomas were always involving the interns in their work and did their best to keep us up to date on some projects they were working on as well.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been a bigger variety in the work we did, but at the same time the repetition of assignments caused me to become better at my skills in film development. I wish I would have received feedback more often, but if I had specific questions I knew I could always email and ask.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share is to commit to the work and the role/experience. It can be hard working remote because you aren't physically surrounded by co-workers who support you, but if you put the right support system in place and really delicate to your work it is more than worth it. You will get out what you put into this internship experience.
