What I liked

It was an amazing experience. The work environment was great and my co-workers were very kind. The Bell Staff were paid slightly under the rest of the staff in the front desk area, but tips always covered the gap and most of the time I made more than I would at a normal position. The scenery is very nice and I enjoyed every second of it. Sometimes the Front Desk would have a potluck or treats in the back office that you can help yourself to. If there is a HUGE group going through the Resort will usually buy a bunch of pizza's for employees. Having my name show up on a positive guest review always made my day.

What I wish was different

Sometimes communication on the job was an issue, but this was pretty rare. Some guests can be a bit challenging but that's just part of hospitality. The employee housing they have was a bit outdated, and they typically give you a room mate. My room was essentially in a bought out motel that looked like it was still in the 80's, but it was pretty close to the Resort and was very cheap.

Advice

Go in with an open mind and a smile and you will do great. Everything was easy to learn on the job and after the first couple weeks you will be walking around like a pro.
