Bowtie Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization committed to fostering the well-being, of children ages 5-21 who are living with chronic pain. We understand and believe that the greatest impact over the long term, involves integrating the entire family and network, as it has been proven to effect greater change. By intentionally engaging the family, Bowtie Kids is positioned to create a secure, healing environment that reinforces a sense of personal empowerment.
Mission: Bowtie Kids inspires courage & confidence in youth living with chronic pain and support their families by transforming lives through personal development community building and gardening to build an enduring sustainable quality of life.
Our Definition of Chronic Pain: We define chronic pain as an unbearable physical pain that limits and interferes with the childhood experience.
What we do: We provide a fun, safe, supportive, and uplifting environment that engages not just the children, but the entire family to create healing for the mind, body, and spirit. We strive for our efforts to leave an everlasting impression that will be felt by the children and families, as they grow together as one.
