I loved that Bowen Collins and Associates made me feel validated and valued. They trusted me with challenging tasks and helped me at every step. I ended up learning so much!
What I wish was different
I wish more students knew about BC&A. It's a small office and it would be great to have a couple of more students to liven up the atmosphere.
Advice
Don't be afraid to take on challenging tasks. Even when you fail, make mistakes or have to ask for help your efforts will be recognized and appreciated. That being said ALWAYS ask for help when you get stuck...that's the whole point of an internship!

What I liked
I liked that I worked on several complex projects. I took raw data and did hydrologic and hydraulic analysis on several projects. I also prepared technical documents for clients and informative flyers for community members affected by the projects.
What I wish was different
I also would have enjoyed more opportunities to meet the other engineers and get to know them better.
