Bose really knows how to take care of their interns. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and sympathetic to the huge learning curve people have when they first join.

Rapid Design Engineering Co-op

January - August 2019 • Framingham, MA

What I liked

I loved the people and area I worked with. I created long-lasting networks and relationships that I am still in touch with. I appreciated how I was not given redundant or "mindless" tasks but was instead told to find a problem and go about and fix it my own way. Teams relied on me to solve or complete such tasks in timely manner, which made me feel important and really part of the team. I also really enjoyed the 50% off discount .

What I wish was different

I wouldn't change any part of my co-op experience.

Advice

I would tell others to apply to a job posting even if they are not sure if they are fully qualified. I almost did not apply because I thought I was not 100% qualified but it turned out it was the perfect job for me and fit me really well and if I did not apply, I would never know what I am truly capable of achieving. If someone is unsure about a few bullet points on the job application they feel they don't qualify for, I say go for it anyways!! The employers are not expecting you to be perfect or know how to do everything on the first day. My advice is to apply to that job anyways, the worst that will happen is they pick someone else, but if you do not give yourself that opportunity, no one else will.
