BorgWarner

Human Resource Intern

March 2017 • Auburn Hills, MI

What I liked

I had a great team I was working under. They value you my opinion and check in with my regularly to make sure if I have any questions they can answer them. They have given me a good amount of work and have challenged me. I have gained many skills from watching and listen them as well as doing actual tasks.

What I wish was different

I wish I would have more work within the first 3 months of my internship.

Advice

I would highly recommend this company and really advocate for yourself as to what you want to learn and be involved in. The more involved in projects the better.

What I liked

I had a lot of autonomy in my long term projects and I got to work with a lot of our test engineers and assemblers to get my project done.

What I wish was different

More interactions with the customer and a variety of full time engineers would have been very useful.

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask questions.
