I love working with my hands, so designing and building frames is very satisfying work.
What I wish was different
The position needs better systems in place for handing off to new staff. If I'd been without a supervisor who already knew a lot of the techniques and procedures I would have had a very hard time providing good service.
Advice
Take the initiative to learn and do things outside your job description!

What I liked
It was great getting to know other student employees and sharing experiences together. Because there are so many students that work there, your schedule is super flexible for class time and vacations.
What I wish was different
The pay was not as much as it should be considering the amount of work I had to do.
Advice
Be prepared for very busy times (football games, orientations, sale days, beginning and end of semester for textbook selling and buyback) and very slow times.
