Internal Audit Intern

What I liked
I liked that I was able to gain real-world experience within the accounting field. The internal audit department allowed me to join them for on-site audits, as well as help with testing for SOX and Branch audits.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to find an internship within the external audit sector since the internal audit sector usually has a negative connotation within the bank.
Advice
I would recommend finding an internship that allows you to keep busy and work hard. I was lucky enough to find an internship that allowed me to do so.
