My supervisor was very accomodating to the current pandemic situation and devised weekly projects for me to complete during the internship to help him make decisions regarding his new private warehouse.
What I wish was different
I wish that COVID-19 was not an issue and I was able to intern with BluShark in-person. It was difficult to get as rewarding an experience with a remote internship.
Advice
Despite the challenges presented by the ongoing pandemic, small businesses like BluShark can thrive and continue serving the watch enthusiast target market. I put my best foot forward in researching barcoding and inventory management solutions and still learned a lot about what it takes to transition from a 3PL warehouse to a private warehouse.
