I liked how I was able to hit the ground running from day one and the work I did actually mattered. I was able to actually see the work that I was doing being brought up in meetings and be utilized to further the agenda of the team.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have stayed longer and gotten a chance to shadow other teams within the organization.
Advice
You get out what you put in, and your manager will give you as much work as you can handle so take it all in stride and do the best you can and learn as much as you can.

What I liked
They get the interns quickly involved, and you do the same amount of work as a full-time employee. The culture is really nice.
What I wish was different
At times it can be boring. A big company like BlueCross isn't necessarily quick and innovative, though they're trying to get better.
Advice
Attend the events they open to interns. Any meeting or experience that they'll let you go to, go to it.

Well organized, great work environment
What I wish was different
Change control processes required me to spend a lot of time on paperwork instead of programming, and the application process was confusing.
Advice
Make sure you are clear what position you want when you apply.
