What I liked

I loved that this internship was so flexible, and I got to learn so much about the industry, and see the intersection of business and sustainability! I also really appreciated the support from my mentors, and guidance they provided me. This was a great internship for finding what I want in a workplace, and finding the type of environment I could see myself in (business or the field).

What I wish was different

I wish I was able to focus on an ongoing project. My research varied week to week, which was great for learning more about what it takes for a sustainability organization to be successful, but I do wish that I was able to focus on a more complex, singular project.

Advice

I would go into this internship fully curious and confident! Ask questions, and don't be afraid to ask for help. People are here to help you get the most out of your internship experience, but it's also your responsibility to make sure you're getting the most out of your experience.
