Blue Bird Corporation

Electrical Engineering Intern

May - August 2022 • Fort Valley, GA

What I liked

I enjoyed working with the people in the engineering department. They were very down to earth and helpful in me learning how to acclimate myself to work at bluebird.

What I wish was different

I think the only thing I wish was different is that I wish I had a better understanding of the tasks I will be focusing on at Bluebird before my internship. It was very vague until I actually started my Internship. Other than that I felt it was a great first internship.

Advice

I would say to be open-minded and willing to learn. You are going to be doing a lot of different tasks, and some are more fun than others, but all of them can be useful in your professional development.

Advice

That interns learn a lot more when their work has a purpose and they know what it affects in the company. Blue bird gave me a very important project and I worked really hard to accomplish their goals.
